The ACS National Meeting attracts chemistry professionals from around the globe looking to share ideas and advance scientific and technical knowledge. By attracting thousands of chemical professionals, the meeting provides excellent opportunities for sharing a passion for chemistry and connecting with the world’s largest scientific society.
If you are attending this meeting please get in touch, we would love to arrange a meeting with you at this event. Alternatively visit us at booth 1334.

An ACS Symposium - One Million Crystal Structures: A Wealth of Structural Chemistry Knowledge
In recognition of the recent milestone of one million crystal structures shared through the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD), we are involved in the organization of a symposium at the Fall ACS meeting where we aim to highlight the insights that can be derived from a collection of data such as the CSD.
The symposium “One Million Crystal Structures: A Wealth of Structural Chemistry Knowledge” – which is being organized by Heba Abourahama of The College of New Jersey, Martin Stahl of Roche and Ian Bruno, Director of Strategic Partnerships at the CCDC, will celebrate the many applications of structural knowledge that can be derived from collections of 3D structural data such as the CSD.
The event will include presentations that describe how crystal structure data, information and knowledge can be applied to areas such as medicinal chemistry, drug design, development of chemical products and materials engineering. There will also be examples of how structural chemistry resources such as the CSD can be used to support teaching and information retrieval goals.
