16th Canadian Chemical Crystallography Workshop (CCCW25)
20–24 June, Carleton University (CA)
The 16th Canadian Chemical Crystallography Workshop at Carleton University is designed for graduate students and postdocs in chemistry to enhance their understanding of structure determination through single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
Attendees will use the free Olex2 software on their laptops to solve and refine various crystal structures, including their own, and can arrange to collect data beforehand if needed. The workshop includes short demonstrations and presentations over five days, focusing on the theory and practice of the process without heavy reliance on equations.
Attendees are expected to have a basic understanding of related concepts, and they will receive examples and tips for preparing CIFs for publication.
Join the two CSD workshop sessions delivered by Yinka Olatunji-Ojo, User Support Scientist at CCDC.
