Intensive Training in X-Ray Diffraction and CSD Tools

23–28 February 2026 | Facultad de Química, Montevideo, Uruguay (UY)

Join us for a one-week intensive course designed for graduate students, post-docs, and early-career researchers. The program combines morning lectures on symmetry, structure solution, and refinement with afternoon hands-on tutorials using the Bruker D8 VENTURE diffractometer, advanced software, and real data sets.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own crystals for data collection, structure determination, and analysis.

We’re proud to have Ilaria Gimondi and Yinka from our Training, Education, and Outreach team on the international organizing committee. We’re also preparing a workshop on CSD tools for structural visualization and analysis.
