What is the general principle of splitting my docking job up?

Solution

The unit of a GOLD docking is one ligand, multiple poses of the same ligand are part of the same unit. To split the docking of a large multi-mol2 file over a number of nodes in a grid engine environment, we can split the multi-mol2 file - one for each node that will be running docking jobs.
