The U.S. National Committee for Crystallography (USNC/Cr) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is providing an online workshop series for students and researchers on the use, development, and maintenance of crystallographic and structural databases. Encompassing macromolecular, small molecule, and powder diffraction information, the series will include training options for some database resources including the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD).

The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) is the curator of the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD), the world’s largest repository of fully curated organic and organometallic experimental crystal structures. The large amount of reliable data makes the CSD an excellent place to gather insights into chemical and structural space.
