CCDC will be exhibiting at AsCA in December this year.
AsCA 2019 serves to showcase rapid developments of crystallography in the region and is expected to attract more than 400 delegates from Asian countries.
The conference provides a platform for researchers to present their most recent findings and to exchange ideas in frontier research topics in crystallography.
There will be scientific sessions devoted to various research fields of crystallography, crystallographic workshops, flash presentations sessions for young researchers and a ‘Rising Star’ session featuring young scientists.
The scientific scope of AsCA 2019 will cover all important aspects of crystallography-related areas, including crystal growth/crystallisation, synchrotron, neutron & electron diffraction, structural biology, bioinformatics, chemical crystallography, crystal engineering, materials and polymer science, pharmaceuticals, electron microscopy, and much more.
Get in touch at hello@ccdc.cam.ac.uk if you are planning to attend and would like to arrange a meeting with one of our team.

CSD One Million Celebration at AsCA
Evening presentations - 18th December, 6.30-8.30pm, The Global Learning Room
In June this year we reached one million structures within the Cambridge Structural Database, a great achievement for the whole community! As part of our celebrations we have been hosting a series of celebratory events, and AsCA is no exception! We will be hosting a CSD One Million evening of presentations on the 18th December, beginning at 6.30pm and including presentations from CCDC and community speakers.
We are also very excited to be presenting the one million prize to Yao Wang at this evening event, who's structure (CSD Refcode XOPCAJ) was the millionth structure to be added to the CSD!
Visit us at booth A08 at the expo to find out more and join us from 6.30 to 8.30pm in the Global Learning Room. We look forward to seeing you there!
