CSD Workshop - Structural visualisations with Mercury

Workshop synopsis: Structural databases such as the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) contain a wealth of information that can be used to derive new knowledge. In this session we will introduce you to the CSD and you will learn how to visualise structures and create publication ready images using Mercury. You will get the opportunity to use the software and see some popular hints and tips. We will also provide you with information about where to find hands-on exercises should you want to explore the CSD further.

CSD workshop - Searching the Cambridge Structural Database using ConQuest

Time: Friday 19 November 2021, 11.30 - 13.00 CAT (09:30 - 11.00 GMT)

Workshop synopsis: Structural databases such as the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) contain a wealth of information that can be used to derive new knowledge. In this session we will introduce you to the CSD and show you how to construct effective searches of the database and CSD subsets using ConQuest. You will get the opportunity to use the software and hands-on exercises designed to help you explore the CSD further will be provided.
