ConQuest

The ConQuest 1.12 executables, supplied with the 2010 release, are supported on the following platforms and operating systems:

  • Windows - Intel compatible, 32 bit, Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7
  • Linux - Intel compatible, 32 bit:
    • RedHat Enterprise 3, 4, 5
    • SuSE Linux Enterprise [Desktop|Server] 10
    • Debian 4, 5
    Note: As we add support for newer versions of Linux, support for older versions may have to be withdrawn.
  • MacOSX, Intel, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6
    Operation of the software on Mac OSX requires an X server to be running in rootless mode such that X applications can be successfully launched as separate windows on the console display.

If you choose to use a version other than those listed above we cannot guarantee that ConQuest will work correctly, although we will attempt to assist you with any problems you may encounter.

Mercury

Mercury 2.3 is supported on the following platforms and operating systems:

  • Windows - Intel compatible, 32 bit, Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7
  • Linux - Intel compatible, 32 bit:
    • RedHat Enterprise 3, 4, 5
    • SuSE Linux Enterprise [Desktop|Server] 10
    • Debian 4, 5
    Note: As we add support for newer versions of Linux, support for older versions may have to be withdrawn.
  • MacOSX, Intel, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6

Mercury has been tested when installed natively on these platforms. Use with emulators, including virtual machines, has not been tested & is not supported.

PreQuest / VISTA

The VISTA & PreQuest executables, supplied with the 2010 release of the CSD System, are supported on the following platforms and operating systems:

  • Linux - Intel compatible, 32 bit:
    • RedHat Enterprise 3, 4, 5
    • SuSE Linux Enterprise [Desktop|Server] 10

Relibase+

Server:

The Relibase+ 3.0 server installation is supported on the following systems:

    • Debian 4.0

The total disk space required is approximately 115 GB (1 GB software). At least 2 GB physical RAM and 2 GB swap space are also highly recommended.

Relibase has been tested when installed natively on these platforms. Use with emulators, including virtual machines, has not been tested & is not supported.

Hermes

Hermes 1.3 is supported on the following platforms and operating systems:

  • Windows - Intel compatible, 32 bit, Windows 2000, XP and Vista
  • Linux - Intel compatible, 32 & 64 bit:
    • RedHat Enterprise 4 and 5
    • Linux Enterprise [Desktop|Server] 10
    • Debian 4.0

DASH 3.1 is supported on the following platforms and operating systems:

  • Windows - Intel compatible, 32-bit, Windows 2000,XP and Vista
DASH has been tested when installed natively on these platforms. Use with emulators, including virtual machines, has not been tested & is not supported.

If you choose to use a version other than those listed above we cannot guarantee that DASH will work correctly, although we will attempt to assist you with any problems that you may encounter.

enCIFer

enCIFer 1.3 is supported on the following platforms and operating systems:

  • Windows - Intel compatible:
    • 32-bit: Windows 2000/XP/Vista
    • 64-bit: Windows Vista
  • Linux - Intel compatible, 32-bit:
    • RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL): 3, 4, 5
    • SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop and Server (SLED|SLES): 10
    • Debian: 4.0 (Etch)
  • Mac OS X: 10.4 10.5 (Universal build)

As we add support for newer versions of operating systems support for older versions may have to be withdrawn.

Note: The CCDC cannot maintain support for operating system versions prior to these, but will attempt to determine whether software can be run on later versions of operating systems wherever possible and practicable.

RPluto

As a free service, CCDC may be unable to provide support for RPluto. RPluto has been compiled on the following platforms and operating systems:

  • Linux - Intel compatible, kernel version 2.4.19 with GNU glibc version 3.2.3 (SuSE 8.1)
  • Silicon Graphics R5000, IRIX 6.5.18
  • Sun SPARC, Solaris 2.6
  • Sun Intel, Solaris 8
  • Windows XP, 2000
