The Cambridge Structural Database System

The CSD System is distributed as a package comprising:

Both Unix (including Linux) and Windows platforms are supported, except where indicated, and all media are included in a single distribution. See individual product pages for detailed platform information.

Standard Package

Access to the complete package is licensed for defined geographical sites during the calendar year (1 January - 31 December). Operation of ConQuest is node locked. The single annual fee provides access on a set number of nodes and includes user support and access to data updates during the year.

Additional ConQuest Licences

Additional access nodes may be licensed by payment direct to the CCDC, either using the order form supplied to licensees each year, or purchased on line. Please contact the CCDC if you require additional copies of the order form for your site.

CSD Solid Form module

Academic institutions: free access with the CSD System.

Industrial organisations: an additional annual fee is payable. Please email admin@ccdc.cam.ac.uk for details.

Non-CSD Formats

CSD-SDfile, CSD-UNITY and CSD-MDL are available only as optional components of the CSD System. An additional annual fee for each is payable.

GOLD

GOLD is licensed on a perpetual basis, according to the number of processes that can be operated simultaneously on specified platforms and licence servers. Licences may be upgraded at any time to include additional processes, platforms or licence servers. Optional maintenance, including user support and supply of program updates, is available.

GoldMine

A certain number of GoldMine user licences are usually provided as part of the GOLD software package. Extra licences may be purchased in addition.

Relibase & Relibase+

Relibase is accessible free of charge via the CCDC's server http://www.relibase.ccdc.cam.ac.uk

Relibase+, the enhanced version of Relibase, is a client-server application. It is licensed on a perpetual basis according to:

  • defined geographical site, with a single (node-locked) server; and
  • specified number of clients (each assigned to an individual user's workspace by the local administrator).

Licences can be upgraded at any time for additional sites and/or client workspaces.

Optional maintenance is available, including user support, program updates and regular supply of new PDB data processed into Relibase format.

DASH

DASH is licensed on a perpetual basis, with access linked to specified geographical sites and individual (node locked) machines. Licences are upgradable at any time for additional sites and machines. Optional maintenance is available, including user support and supply of program updates.
