How do I export CSD search data from ConQuest to Mercury for Data Analysis?

Solution

If you have run a search of the CSD using ConQuest, you can export the text and numeric data to Mercury for analysis along with the 3D structural information by clicking on Analyse Hitlist > Analyse Data above the resulting refcode list or selecting File > Analyse Data in Mercury from the top-level menu.

You are also able to extract additional data fields for each search hit directly from the CSD either by selecting the relevant checkboxes in the resulting ‘Analyse in Mercury’ dialogue when exporting from ConQuest, or by accessing Tools > CSD Data from the menu within the Data Analysis module of Mercury.  You can also limit the structures exported to Mercury by clicking on the green checks on the left of each refcode to exclude them from the export.
