How do I get access to WebCSD?

You will need an unlimited site licence for the Cambridge Structural Database System (CSDS). Access is provided via a public server hosted at the CCDC. WebCSD is licensed using IP address ranges - simply supply your institution's IP range and all computers within that range will immediately gain access to WebCSD.

  • Industrial organisations with a CSDS licence will automatically have an unlimited seat licence including WebCSD access. Later this year you will be able to install your own local server in-house for added security and control.
  • For academic institutions, if you already have the CSDS but do not have an unlimited seat licence, you can upgrade your licence to unlimited seats.
  • For pricing information about the CSDS or an upgrade please go to online purchasing at
    http://www.ccdc.cam.ac.uk/products/csd_system/conquest/purchase_licences
or if this is unavailable to you, contact admin@ccdc.cam.ac.uk.
  • If you are interested in evaluating WebCSD, registering for access to our public WebCSD server or obtaining a local installation package, please e-mail admin@ccdc.cam.ac.uk for more details.
  • To check the status of your current licence, look in your ConQuest menu: Help > Current Licence Information.
