You will need an unlimited site licence for the Cambridge Structural
Database System (CSDS). Access is provided via a public server
hosted at the CCDC.
WebCSD is licensed using IP address ranges - simply supply your
institution's IP range and all computers within that range will immediately gain access to WebCSD.
Industrial organisations with a CSDS licence will automatically have an unlimited seat licence including WebCSD access. Later this year you will be able to install your own local server in-house for added security and control.
For academic institutions, if you already have the CSDS but do not have an unlimited seat licence, you can upgrade your licence to unlimited seats.
If you are interested in evaluating WebCSD, registering for access to our public WebCSD server or obtaining a local installation package, please e-mail admin@ccdc.cam.ac.uk for more details.
To check the status of your current licence, look in your ConQuest menu: Help > Current Licence Information.
If you would like to experience the new entry display interface in WebCSD, you can browse all 500 entries from the new CSD Teaching Database by visiting our interactive WebCSD demo.
