CSD Updates
Updates containing new CSD entries will be produced at intervals between
releases on CDROM. CSD System subscribers may download from this page by
clicking on the chosen item.
You should download the updates in numeric order, starting with No.
1 in the table.
You will need write permission to the main CSD folder to install updates.
When added to this directory the update(s) will be visible when restarting
ConQuest. Perform the following steps to install each update.
Windows: run the .exe file, the wizard will ask for the main
CSD install folder (default C:\Program Files\CCDC\CSD V5.30). Extract
the update files to your CSD V5.30 directory.
Unix/Linux: uncompress and extract
the tar file in the directory
$CSDHOME/csd which contains the main CSD database files
(as530be.*),
e.g.
gunzip < CSDUpdateMay09.tar.gz | tar xvf -
MacOSX (via Safari): Click on the update link below and save to
your download folder as a .tar file. Double-click the .tar file to
extract the contents in a CSDUpdateMMMYY directory. Copy the contents of
that directory to the location of your CSD database files (default
/Applications/CCDC/DATA/CSD_530).
Vista and Quest must be configured to access updates - instructions here.
You will be prompted for your ConQuest id (enter your CCDC Site Code)
and password (enter your Confirmation Code without the leading 'CC') in order to download an update.
