Relibase - Easy Searching of Protein-Ligand Complexes
Relibase is a web-based database that provides tools for the investigation and
analysis of protein-ligand complexes. Relibase provides easy access
to all such experimental structures within the Protein Data Bank (PDB).
Relibase features:
- An intuitive web-based user interface
- A fast database search engine
- Standard text searching
- 2D substructure searching
- 3D protein-ligand interaction
searching
- Ligand similarity searching
- Clear 3D visualisation using AstexViewer
- Automatic superposition of related binding sites
to compare ligand binding modes, water positions,
ligand-induced conformational changes, etc.
- Secondary structure classification and searching according to a novel
and comprehensive turn and helix assignment scheme
The web accessible version of Relibase is freely available to academic users at the following web
addresses;
http://relibase.ccdc.cam.ac.uk
http://relibase.rutgers.edu
Relibase+ is the commercial version of Relibase and has a number of additional features including
the ability to generate proprietary databases that are searchable alongside the PDB.
The Relibase(+) client runs on popular web browsers on Windows and UNIX (including Linux) operating systems
